Earthquake of 3.7 on Richter scale 27km from Bulgaria’s Plovdiv
An earthquake of 3.7 on the Richter scale was recorded at 7.04am on January 29 2014 about 11km from Perushtitsa and 27km south-west of Bulgaria’s second city Plovdiv, seismologists said.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 10km deep.
The quake was accompanied by about five smaller aftershocks.
No serious damage or injuries were reported.
