Russia demands Polish apology over embassy attack
The Russian foreign ministry has demanded apologies and compensation from Poland for the incident which took place in front of the Russian embassy during the march of right-wing groupings on Monday, Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
Some of the nationalists engaged in street fighting and set on fire a guard booth in front of the Russian embassy and threw firecrackers, bottles and stones on the embassy premises. Polish police used rubber bullets to break up groups of masked far-right youths when the nationalist march turned violent.
