Prosecutors order investigation into Golden Dawn’s financial status
Prosecutors Spyros Georgouleas and Christos Papakostas ordered on October 8 the Financial Crime Prosecution Unit of Greece (SDOE) to begin a thorough investigation about the financial status of the extreme-right neo-Nazi criminal organization of the Golden Dawn.
According to Greek media, judicial authorities are asking whether there exist incriminating elements, which would involve Golden Dawn with committing crimes, such as money laundering or fraud.
