Hungarian Jewish hero in film drama
British actors Ben Kingsley and Jonas Armstrong star in Walking with the Enemy, an American film set in Budapest during the final years of the Second World War and due to be released at the end of this year.
Inspired by the true story of Tibor Rosenbaum Pinkász, the film follows a young Jewish man who, aided by his “Aryan” looks, dons the SS uniform and sets out to rescue Jews from deportation and extermination in German-occupied Hungary.
