Bulgaria to test siren warning system on April 1
The early warning siren system will be tested in 10 Bulgarian cities on April 1 2013.
The tests will take place at 1pm in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Bourgas, Kurdjali, Montana, Pazardjik, Pleven, Rousse and Smolyan, the Interior Ministry said.
Before the actual siren tests, an announcement will be played using the loudspeakers system. The end of the tests will, likewise, be accompanied by an announcement (in Bulgarian).
