Tastes of Europe culinary exhibition at Sofia’s NDK
Culinary delights from various countries are featuring at the Tastes of Europe international exhibition at the National Palace of Culture, NDK, in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia from September 24 to 30.
The exhibition is open daily from 10am, closing at 7pm from September 24 to 28 and at 8pm on September 29 and 30.
A number of the top chefs working at Sofia restaurants will be preparing dishes during the event.
Featured cuisines include those of the Czech Republic, Norway, Italy, Sweden, France, Serbia and Greece, with the US and Mexico as “visiting countries”.
Tastes of Europe 2012 is under the auspices of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food, which has a pavilion showing off typical Bulgarian products.
The exhibition also includes musical performances, for instance a traditional Greek dance and music programme on September 29 from 5pm to 7pm.
