Bulgarian caught driving 248km/h on Croatian highway

A Bulgarian was stopped by police in Croatia after driving at 248km/h on a highway, local media said.

In Croatia, speed limits are 110km/h on expressways and 130km/h on freeways.

The Bulgarian was fined 530 euro and banned from driving in Croatia for 12 months. A Serbian caught driving 230km/h was fined 400 euro and also banned for a year.
