Thousands of tourists left abroad as Polish travel agency files for bankruptcy
The Polish authorities have scrambled to help over 4,500 bewildered and angry tourists on holiday in 10 different countries, including Bulgaria, after the Sky Club travel agency filed for bankruptcy on Wednesday.
Many of the tourists were left wondering how to get home following one of the biggest bankruptcy cases in Poland’s tourism business.
Sky Club, which also trades under the Triada brand, said on its website that it had a “lack of sufficient funds for further operations.”
