Amid crisis, Poland bucks the trend: FT
Poland is solidifying its position as the European Union’s fastest growing economy and is the most resilient of the ex-communist states that joined the bloc between 2004 and 2007, Britain’s Financial Times reported on Monday.
The business daily noted that unlike other parts of Europe, there are no signs of recession in Poland, adding that some experts believe the country would be able to avoid recession even if the eurozone collapses.
