Housing prices in Bulgaria in Q1 2026 up 14.8% y/y
In the first quarter of 2026, housing prices in Bulgaria were 14.8 per cent higher than in the first quarter of 2025, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on June 24.
Housing prices in the first quarter of 2026 were 6.2 per cent higher than in the fourth quarter of 2025, the NSI said.
The highest increase was recorded in Bourgas (5.9 per cent), followed by Sofia (5.8 per cent), Varna (four per cent) and Plovdiv (3.9 per cent).
A decrease was registered in Stara Zagora (-2.1 per cent) and Rousse (-1.6 per cent).
