Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in November 2025 was 3.5%

The unemployment rate in Bulgaria in November 2025 was 3.5 per cent, down from 3.6 per cent in October 2025 and from four per cent in November 2024, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on January 8, citing seasonally-adjusted figures.

In November 2025, the euro area seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.3 per cent, down from 6.4 per cent in October 2025 and up from 6.2 per cent in November 2024, Eurostat said.

The EU unemployment rate was 6.0 per cent in November 2025, stable compared with October 2025 and up from 5.8 per cent in November 2024.

Bulgaria’s youth unemployment rate in November 2025 was 12.6 per cent, down from 13.2 per cent in October 2025 but up from 9.8 per cent in November 2024.

 In November 2025, the youth unemployment rate was 15.1 per cent in the EU, down from 15.2 per cent in the previous month, and 14.6 per cent in the euro area, also down from 14.8 per cent in October 2025.
