Ice Park Plovdiv to open in early December 2025

After weeks of construction, Ice Park Plovdiv – measuring about 3000 square metres – is due to open in the Bulgarian city in early December 2025.

The equipment for the ice park, in central Plovdiv, was brought in from Austria in 20 lorries.

Completion of the construction of the ice park is expected by November 30.

Entertainment at the ice park is to include raffles with prizes and an ice show.

Also in the centre of the city, a Christmas town was being built, close to the central Post Office.

The “Christmas in Plovdiv”, featuring stalls selling traditional food and drink, as well as Father Christmas’s Lift and a Christmas Tree Carousel, is to be on from November 28 to January 4 inclusive.

The opening is to feature concerts and a parade.

Plovdiv’s Kapana Christmas Bazaar, on the central square and in the Kapana creative district, is to be open from December 17 to 28.
