Bulgaria’s Air Force is hosting 10-day international flight exercise
The joint flight exercise “European Course for the Improvement of Tactical Training of Military Transport Aviation 2026-3” (ETAR-S 26-3), hosted by the Bulgarian Air Force, is taking place from September 28 to October 8, the Defence Ministry said.
The exercise involves personnel and aircraft from the air forces of allied countries, the European Tactical Airlift Centre and the European Airlift Command, the ministry said.
The flights planned during the exercise will be carried out from Plovdiv Airport.
During ETAP-C 26-3, tasks will be performed in temporarily reserved areas of Bulgaria’s airspace in the areas of Plovdiv Airport, 22nd Air Base in Bezmer, 12th Air Base in Dolna Mitropolia, as well as over parts of central and southern Bulgaria, the Defence Ministry said.
