Holiday visits to Bulgaria in April 2026 up 3.2% y/y

There were a total of 297 701 arrivals in Bulgaria for holidays in April 2026, an increase of 3.2 per cent compared with April 2025, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on May 29, citing preliminary data.

Of the arrivals for holidays, the largest numbers were from Romania, 59 337, followed by Türkiye, 58 493, Greece, 53 956, Serbia, 20 633, and North Macedonia, 18 237.

Among other arrivals, 13 711 were from Germany, 7883 from Ukraine, 6752 from the United Kingdom and 1741 from Israel.
