Eurostat: Unemployment in Bulgaria in October 2025 was 3.6%

Bulgaria’s unemployment rate in October 2025 was 3.6 per cent, down from 3.7 per cent in September 2025 and from 4.1 per cent in October 2024, European Union statistics agency Eurostat said on December 2, citing seasonally-adjusted data.

In October 2025, the euro area seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 6.4 per cent, stable compared with September 2025 and up from 6.3 per cent in October 2024, Eurostat said.

The EU unemployment rate was 6.0 per cent in October 2025, also stable compared with September 2025 and up from 5.8 per cent in October 2024.

Bulgaria’s youth unemployment rate in October 2025 was 13.3 per cent, down from 13.9 per cent in September 2025 but up from 10.5 per cent in October 2024.

In October 2025, the youth unemployment rate was 15.2 per cent in the EU and 14.8 per cent in the euro area, both stable compared with September 2025, Eurostat said.
