Bulgarian government agrees tourism deal with Saudi Arabia
Bulgaria’s Cabinet approved on September 13 a memorandum on co-operation in tourism with Saudi Arabia, the government media service said.
The document reflects the desire of both countries to foster co-operation in the tourism sector, “taking into account local traditions and values”, the Bulgarian government statement said.
The memorandum provides for Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia to present the potential for tourism in both countries, as well as services that can be offered. The intention is to encourage mutual investments in tourism projects, management contracts and travel services.
Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia will support the organisation of joint tourist and cultural events and festivals such as exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
