Poland, Russia reach consensus on road transport permits
Polish deputy Infrastructure Minister Jerzy Szmit and his Russian counterpart Nikolai Asaul Friday reached agreement on restoring international road transports following talks in Moscow.
The talks concerned road transport permits for Polish drivers transporting goods on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2016 which expired on January 31. Polish lorry drivers had until February 15 to leave Russian territory.
Polish-Russian talks on road transport permits for 2016 were first held on February 3 and ended without agreement.
