Security stepped up in Sofia after Paris terrorist attacks
Police in Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia were taking increased security measures, Bulgarian National Radio said on November 14 after the terrorist attacks in Paris that left more than 120 people dead.
There would be a strengthened police presence in Sofia where large-scale events such as concerts and other gatherings were to be held.
Security also was being stepped up at diplomatic missions of foreign countries in the capital city, police said.
Bulgaria has condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris and expressed solidarity with the people of France. On Facebook, a group has organised flower-laying outside the French embassy in Sofia on November 14 at 7pm in sympathy with France and the victims of the terrorist attacks.
