Poland’s prime minister and cabinet to resign on September 9
Polish PM Donald Tusk will hand in his resignation on Tuesday, following his nomination for the president of the European Council, and the resignation will be accepted on Thursday, following the sitting of the National Security Council RBN, Polish president’s spokeswoman Joanna Trzaska-Wieczorek said on Monday.
On Thursday, President Bronislaw Komorowski will appoint a new PM candidate from the ruling Civic Platform (PO) to form a new government, Trzaska-Wieczorek said.
