Polish government passes job protection bill
The Polish government adopted Tuesday the labor minister’s bill on measures aimed to protect employees and businesses during economic downturn, the government press office said.
The draft law introduces regulations which envisage direct financial aid to troubled businesses that could be used to subsidize payrolls. The solutions will protect jobs in a period of production or work time reduction, the government press office said in a statement following the cabinet sitting.
