Holocaust Exhibit Opening

Opening of the exhibit entitled “With me are six million accusers: The Eichmann trial in Jerusalem” (organized by the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, Department of Public Information (DPI), in partnership with the Permanent Mission of Israel) (as mandated by General Assembly resolution 60/7
The following officials and special guests will attend the event:

1. Mr. Maher Nasser, Acting Head of the Department of Public Information;
2. H.E. Mr. Yossi Peled, Minister and Member of the Knesset and Holocaust survivor;

3. H.E. Mr. Ron Prosor, Permanent Representative of Israel to the UN;

4. Professor Melvin J. Bukiet of Sarah Lawrence College, and Representative of the American Society for Yad Vashem

5. Ms. Tamar Hausner-Raveh, attorney and daughter of Gideon Hausner, the Israeli prosecutor who tried Eichmann five decades ago;

6. Mr. Mickey Goldmann, Chief Inspector of Police Bureau 06, the Israeli police division that was established for the purpose of assembling the relevant documents and witnesses to assist the prosecutiton
