Action in Bansko, Bulgaria: The Man Who is All Over the Skiing Slopes

Written by on December 5, 2016 in Bulgaria, Latest - No comments

Lance Nelson is our man in Bulgaria’s skiing resort Bansko. The founder and editor-in-chief of both Bulgaria Now and Bansko Blog can hardly be reached these days, since he is all over the slopes, especially now that the season started, just yesterday, two days earlier than predicted.

In order to warm up for the -12 degrees out there, he first had a huge hot chocolate and then a tomato soup, which was as huge as it was hot. At the V.I.P. room up on the hill, he was greeted by Krassi, Lilly and other kind ladies, before hitting the piste, for the first time this season.

Lance would not be Lance, if he had not interviewed every single snow flake and analyzed every slope Bansko has to offer, live on Facebook, in recorded video reports, and in writing. The man is always ahead of himself, especially when the season starts.

During the first runs, Lance’s legs were hurting. He said it might take him weeks until he is completely ski fit. But we believe it will be days only.

Hang in there, Lance! We are following your every move.
