“Supercross Sofia 2”: Through the Mud on Two Wheels

Written by on August 23, 2016 in Leisure, Sofia - No comments

Once Sofia returns to normal, once everyone is back at school and at work, once the temperatures are dropping, Sofia will host a grand event for all fans of two wheels, speed and even more mud: “Supercross Sofia 2” is on.

The organizers, Eurospeed, and their Bulgarian partners MOKO Solution, are promising a breathtaking spectacle, one which will be “more spectacular than ever” and definitely unprecedented. What this means is that their intention is to surpass last year’s “Supercross 1”, which was spectacular already.

It gets even better: On October 1st and 2nd, 2016, at Arena Armeets, Sofia will be turned into the world’s capital of motorsports and high adrenaline. Hormones probably as well. In short: It will be magic. And probably loud, which is part of the drill. The promoters will actually build a pretty difficult track at Arena Armeets, by transporting tons of mud and sand into the venue. The track will have a “6 dirt track layout”, which sounds very convincing as well. And they will not forget the pyrotechnics either.

“Supercross Sofia 2” will also provide a chance to young Bulgarian racers, the organizers say. So, the new blood might race along with the masters in this discipline.

The event will take place on October 1st and 2nd at Arena Ameets. Tickets are available here, for 30 to 80 Leva.

One single question has not been answered: Who will clean up the muddy mess at Arena Armeets afterwards?
