Made in Bulgaria: “Stotinka OS”, the Fully Loaded Operating System

In order to find genius software developers, we do not need to purchase expensive flight tickets to California. They are right here, in Sofia. “Stotinka OS” is a sleek looking operating system, based on Linux. The developers are calling this product a good alternative to the well-known, expensive OS most of us are using.

“Stotinka OS” outperforms Microsoft Windows in at least one respect: the price. While “Windows 10 Home” costs around 100 U.S. Dollars for just one computer, the price for the alternative from the land of rose oil and Shopska salad amounts to exactly 0 Dollars. In words: Zero. Null. Niente. Nada.

The first version of this splendid specimen of an operating system was developed last year. But it is being updated all the time. Its developers believe, their free product is just as good as the big one from Washington State. So, if that’s the case, why doesn’t everyone install it? Because most people just use what they know.

On the “Stotinka OS” website, the operating system can be downloaded. Users may also donate, if they want to.
