‘Mucha Suerte’: Bulgarian expat wins 68 million euro in Spain

A Bulgarian expat family has just won 68 million euro in the Spanish lottery “Primitiva”. According to Spanish media reports, the woman who purchased the ticket, has lived in Spain for 15 years.

The lucky winner is part of a family of workers, according to cadenaser.com. Her husband and son work in the transport business, in the town of Quintanar del Rey, with 8000 inhabitants.

The last huge “Primitiva” win, 101 million euro, was paid out to a native of Barcelona in 2015.

In comparison, Bulgarian lottery jackpots look pale, with an estimated average of 1.5 million euro.
