Consequence of Scorching Heat: Countless Wildfires in Southern Bulgaria

At least 32 new forest fires have been counted in Bulgaria, since this month started, a few hours ago. Most of those fires were noticed in the southern part of the country. Firefighters are scrambling to fight the flames.

According to a report by, the municipality of Madzharovo has declared a state of emergency, due to several fires in the region. The region of Varna, in the north-east, was also affected, the report says.
