Dear Bulgarian expats:
How are you today? We are expats living in Bulgaria and we wanted to say hi to you, Bulgarians in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and basically everywhere across the planet. There are a million of you, meaning you are far more than we are. But we have things in common: First of all, we are all expats, migrants or foreigners, living in a country we were not born in. We all miss home at times, maybe we miss the food they eat at home. On the other hand: What is home? Home is where we feel well and where our loved ones are, right?
You are not all the same. Neither are we. We all have different opinions, our likes and dislikes, our tastes and preferences differ. But we are all pretty international. Most of you, and some of us, speak the local language in the country they live in, and maybe more foreign languages. In this regard, you, Bulgarian expats abroad, might be better than we are. Many of us do not speak Bulgarian, or our Bulgarian is pretty weak (which applies to the author of these lines too).
