Milena Hoheisel is a Bulgarian expat in Straberg, who has been living in Germany for almost 16 years. She is married to a German and has two kids.

She also has a “killer tomato”. Well, she did. The 39-year-old is usually the one in the family, who deals with the vegetable garden. This year, she told the publication rp-online.de, she let her husband grow the tomatoes. The outcome: A “killer tomato”, weighing more than 1.5 kilos.

That huge tomato did not survive long. “We turned it into a salad”, Milena Hoheisel told the publication. On her Facebook page, a friend suggested she might want to call The Guiness Book of World Records. Well, too late, since the “killer tomato” was slashed, turned into a salad, swallowed and digested. Maybe next time.

Mrs. Hoheisel also told rp-online.de, she grew up with her grandmother in Bulgaria. From her, she had learned how to grow tomatoes.

Besides, as we all know, tomatoes are a lot better in Bulgaria. The “killer tomato” on the picture actually looks like a Bulgarian vegetable, rather than a German one.
