A Boeing 737, owned by the airline Sun Express, slid off the runway at Stuttgart Airport on Sunday. Due to a pilot error, the aircraft, which had just brought home 188 tourists from Varna, got stuck in the grass next to a taxi way. None of the passengers or crew on board were injured.

Stuttgart Airport was closed for several hours, because of the incident. German media quoted an airport spokesperson saying the Boeing had been stuck too close to the runway. It took hours to pull the aircraft off the grass. More than 20 flights had to be cancelled.

Sun Express is a Turkish airline, operating out of Antalya.
