The International Women’s Club of Sofia is to hold its annual Charity Bazaar at the Inter Expo Centre in Sofia on December 6 2015, from 10.30am to 5pm.
Every year the Annual Charity Bazaar provides an opportunity for countries to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, folklore, national cuisine, clothing, books, culture and traditions. All proceeds from sales go to charity.
Details of some of this year’s attractions have already emerged.
At the Belgian stand you can participate in a silent auction for three works of art. You can put in a secret bid, without minimum, by filling in the participation slip and placing your bid in the closed box. Bid on an original work by Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec or James Ensor, free of charge and without participation fees.
At the British Residence, work is already underway on making mince pies that will be at the UK stall along with other traditional British Christmas delicacies.
The Korean embassy is organising a raffle on the day, with prizes including a Samsung television set.
Tickets cost three leva. Advance tickets are available at the G8 Cultural Centre, 8 William Gladstone Street, at the Odeon Cinema at 1 Patriarch Evtemii Boulevard, and from the Theatre Sofia ticket office at the corner of of GS Rakovski and Slaviyanska streets.
