Four years after the “bad boys of Boston” nearly broke up, Aerosmith will finally make their way to Sofia as part of the latest leg of their Global Warming world tour.

The concert in Sofia has been scheduled for May 17 2014, with Lokomotiv stadium as the venue, organisers Sofia Music Enterprises said on November 25. The gig is yet to be confirmed on the band’s page, but tickets are expected to go on sale later this week.

Sofia was skipped on the Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock tour in 2010, when die-hard Aerosmith admirers had to pick between Bucharest and Athens to see the band perform live.

Fans can look forward to a selection of the band’s greatest hits, as well as songs from Music from another Dimension, the first studio album released by Aerosmith after an 11-year pause, in 2012.
