Polish firms to invest 1.2 billion euro in shale gas projects by 2016

Polish firms will invest in shale gas projects five billion zloty (about 1.22 billion euro) by 2016, but eventually investments may reach PLN 50 billion, once investments of foreign firms and development of the gas market is taken into account, the cabinet press office CIR said in a statement.
