Live music and more at Studio 5 club in Sofia in September

Despite being around for a shorter time than many other Sofia nightspots, Studio 5 has quickly established itself, filling a void and drawing crowds of jazz fans, small-stage theatre aficionados and stand-up comedy enthusiasts.

The new autumn season is well underway at Studio 5 after the summer break and the following events have been scheduled for the rest of September. Studio 5 can be found in the National Palace of Culture, NDK (1 Bulgaria Blvd), entrance A3. Entrance fees for events vary, but as a rule fall in the five to 10 leva range.

7 pm: Tales from the New York Library – presentation of the book by Vantzeti Vassilev
10 pm: P.I.F. (alternative rock)

September 28
7pm: Georgi Mamalev in ‘What’s going on?’ – (theatre, pre-premiere)
10pm: AKAGA Live (fusion jazz, soul, funk)

September 29
7pm: The musical is dead, Long live the musical!
10.30pm: Sentimental Swingers and Mihail Yossifov Sextet (jazz)

September 30
7pm: Voiceland
10.30pm: The stars of The Voice of Bulgaria live! (pop)
